Rims size question

Hi everyone, I'm absolutely a tires/rims size newbie! be kind with me! :frown:
I use the stock tires size (185/55/R15) and wheel spacers (16mm front/20mm rear) on my '02 TS.
I'd like to buy a set of Rota RB, 15x8 4x100mm ET30, can I fit those on my car without rolling the fenders?

Extend 31 mm front and 27mm rear that is not bad at all but drop and tire size is gonna have a lot to do with it.

I think that Rota RB's are just about the most beautiful wheels made. Molto bella! :drool:

And I understand your situation, because I also was blindsided by the width/offset unknowns so I stayed closer to stock and am running 15X7 +35's and 195/65 tires with no rubbing at stock height. the front wheels are just barely under the edge of the fender so if the car was lowered, it would likely rub. This is because Rota's have a wide machined edge outside of the spokes like the old fashioned wheels used to have. Thst's why they look so distinctive.

Notice that the new style front wheel drive rims usually have none and so more easily tuck under fenders on lowered cars.

I did discover that with the +35's I needed to add 5mm spacers to allow the front wheels to clear the disc brake calipers. If you run +30's that shouldn't be an issue, because they get the wheels to position closer to the center of the vehicle by machining the inside surface that bolts onto the hubs. That's where the reduced brake clearance comes from.

Not a fan of those rotas. Again its all opinions. I did not have that issue with my rota gt3's and they are a +40 offset. It must be an RB only issue. Also keep in mind op has an 2002

I think it's because the RB's are replicas of the 1960-70's era Panasport racing wheels when deep dish was the norm on RWD cars.

I just got some that look similar, not the same, and am impressed with the "better than stock, but not gangsta" look.

yes it is, TA Technix shocks+springs -40mm
