yep its possible...........just get a line level converter....

tap off your rear speakers and what it does if you dont already know is changes it from high level to low level inputs......

sound quality isnt as great, but it works.....

that what i did in my sedan, sound greats, turn off the bass in your stock speakers let the bass flow from your sub only, sound awesome, don't need to replace no stock speakers.

See thats the problem here! You people think that without a total aftermarket system you can't have great sound quality.

This is a misnomer. Get a good quality LOC and perhaps even a line driver and you'll be more than fine with proper level matching and some gain overlap.

I really hope this didn't go over your collective heads. If it did, just watch out over the next year. I'll show you what I mean.

I advise giving the stock speakers around the level 2 or 3 on the bass setting. Then turn the amp up\down to dial in the sub. If you turn the bass all the way down and the sub all the way up your going to have a bad gap in frequency response. A decent sub usually wont produce any frequencies above like 300 hrtz. I have my low pass x-over set at around 100-120ish hrtz. You end up getting a very.....I would say flat.....sounding system.

i tried that one time, but somehow i think the bass from the stock speakers is annoying me, and it's make too much rattling noises when i have too many thingys laying in the door component, that is why i turn the bass off in stock speakers and let the bass flow from sub only.

Got a Kenwood Amp, and 12 inch sub MTX, it's loud and boom from inside, but outside hardly can't tell that i got a 12sub, very quiet.

its possible but your not gonna make your products reach their maximum level because a head unit makes the sound alot more clearer bcuz most of the good aftermarket head units come with a built in amp, which helps filter the sound evenly to your main amp and produces a clearer sound in general

You dont even need that if you have a decent amp with hi-level inputs. Do you have an amp now? If so what is it?
