has anyone replaced the stock stamped cheap A arms and hub and spindle with an aftermarket set up thats a bit more rugged ..on the 07 hatch..??

I've looked around a bit for some aftermarket lower control arms but haven't found anything.

Never replaced the entire assembly, but back in the old IMSA days the team I crewed for would always reinforce the stamped lower control arms. Basicly what they would do was remove all the bushings, lay the arm out on a 1/8" flat sheet of metal and outline the arm. After cutting these to fit, they'ed stitch weld the entire outer edge at about 1"-2" intervals. This made the arms very stiff and allowed the suspension tuning to stay adjusted all the way through it's range of motion. You should be able to do about the same with your control arms, just useing a plasma cutter and a good tig welder to put it all together.
