I've been following the rear speed sensor issue with the last gen Yaris and was wondering if anyone with a 3rd gen has taken a look at the plug on the rear wheels to see if they're still using the same crappy connector? If so, it might be a good bit of preventative maintenance to take the connector apart now while it's still new and see if they've added dielectric grease to it. If not, add it to ensure they never fail from the get go.

Yes that's the sensor. Call it what you will, I'd pack a little bit of dielectric grease in there to prevent it from corroding if it still the same sensor.

I'm in the process of replacing my rear abs sensor. I have already removed the hub assembly and replaced the sensor. When re-attaching the hub assembly, should I use lock-tite on the bolts?

Was there any on the ones you removed? I think you just need to torque them to spec.

If there wasn't any loctite on it before it isnt nessisary but it dosnt hurt either.
