Bought a WhiteLine sway from autoanything.com. Payed $183.delivered. ordered monday afternoon, and it showed up this morning.

15 minutes later it was installed, and Wow! what a nice product.

Yaris has moved up another tier! That's two tiers in one week, as I installed Tokico's over the weekend.

So for now I think I've taken care of the major issues with the car.

I must say, if you dont know already, Tokico's and a Whiteline for $500. is money well spent!!

How does this compare with the trd bar? The ubolt orientation of the whiteline has been a turnoff for me for some reason.. I need a rear swaybar yesterday

I cant say, as I've never owned a TRD anything.

But I gave a few days of study on the whole sway bar topic.

Looking at every brand I could find, I went with the WL because of the U-bolts.

WL seemed to be the only company that really put some thought into there bar design.

Anyway, the install took about 10~15 minutes, and the ride quality is fantastic! Hugh improvement.

Good luck in your search.

The designs are different, so it's not easy to compare performance directly. I've had both and prefer the Whiteline product; so I carry it in my store.

The Whiteline is adjustable and 22mm, that means "soft" is the same as a 21mm bar and "firm" is the same as a 23mm bar (per Whiteline's videos).

The TRD bar is 19mm, but a simpler install with only four bolts.

I have the same setup whiteline and tokico in the rear. You are missing the whiteline bushing that also will make a huge difference in your driving experience.

Holy monkey balls! Caster adjustment? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!

@Deathbeard, you will be the first to know when I decide to sell. Which is very likely. I kinda wanna do shorter shocks in the rear and do away with rear swaybar altogether

Not sure if your typing my way? But if you are, the caster on my rig is dead nuts!

I dont believe in lowering a street car, or even a track car, as I feel theres really little performance to be gained(IMO). There is a pandora's box of issues once you lower a car, if you just use shorter springs.

So to reply to your question, I've BEEN on the track since 1983, mostly on motorcycles, but have had my fun in cars as well.

^ I think the comment was directed at me, or at the bushings themselves.

Lowering the Yaris, with its tall center of gravity, makes a huge difference in handling.

^ this

why?

little performance to be gained? If anything, my gas mileage went up when i lowered my car.
