So today I went to the hard setting on my WL sway bar. WOW! What a jump in performance! But a bit scary. If you doing 60~70 mph into a long sweeper, and you stay on the gas, it's down right dreamy. Once you let off the gas, mucho Oversteer! I would not try this in the rain. But its so close to the edge, it's a lot of fun.

I've put it back to the softer setting.

So what have all of you other WL bar users found with your settings?

^ Same. According to Whiteline, the soft setting is like a 21mm bar, and the firm setting is like a 23mm bar.

22mm is actually between the two holes.

I've used both settings, autocross is pretty nice on soft, the Yaris lets off rear weight really easy, especially with a lightened flywheel.

So are you saying the 21mm would be better/safer for street?

I think 21 would be, generally, safer for the streets. However, it comes down to how hard you drive/your driving style and other mods your car. I can push my car hard into a corner, and it'll slightly understeer. Blipping the gas really quickly and letting off completely brings it back to an almost neutral cornering.

I have the TRD rsb, GT-Spec rear sway link brace, front Tanabe strut bad, and TRD dampers with Tein S.Tech springs.

I think if you get any spring aside from the S.Tech's (I think they're the only ones that have a stiffer rear spring rate), it might help out with your off gas oversteer.

Can't answer that question for all cars and all owners. Wheels, tires, driving style, and many more factors determine a driver's choice that "feels right".

You're more comfortable/feel more in control on the soft setting. Other drivers prefer the firm setting. Hard to say for everyone.

I talked with Whiteline Australia, and the bloke was really helpful. He stated with my stock tires and mildly stiff spring rate, I should NOT use the 22 mm setting! Saying the 21 mm setting is more than enough bar for my car.

Nice to get a 100% clear answer. Good people at WhiteLine, very happy with there product.
