So I changed out my rotors and pads. I got EBC rotors(plain jane) for $100. pr pair. and Power stop Z16 Evolution Ceramic pads for $27.
Brake performance has increased 2 fold(or so it feels).
Had stock stuff on there, and the rotors were fine, but new car to me, so I thought I'd start fresh.
Nice upgrade for $127. Job took less than 30 minutes.
Was going to go with Hawk or EBC Green stuff, but found way too many bad reviews, Noise & Dust.

Any ceramic pad will be more noisy and more dusty. However, the dust is less abrasive and should be easier to clean off. At least in my experience, as well as my friends' experiences, this is all true.
Adjust the rear drums and clean off the drum and shoes with a damp towel (just water, not detergent/soap), and change the brake fluid. You'll be even more amazed.

I just replaced my brake fluid, and it feels like my car no longer "nose dives" when braking.

Yep, I've already flushed the fluid and checked the rears.

If you upgrade the steel brake line, you will see a big diff too. I am still running my original brake pad and rotors with 75k miles on it.

SS brake lines are over rated, unless you've got and old rig with old lines.
Also cars with long lines will notice a performance boost with SS lines.
But your right, as I'll most likely do it someday.

I'm not a big fan of Green stuff, but the Hawk pads are very good, with low noise and dust, and reasonable improvement over stock performance.
Stainless lines on the Yaris do firm up the pedal, it's a worthwhile mod on this car.

If these pads start acting up(noise or lack of bite), I'll get some Hawks from you.
