hello people, i am new to the yaris world and i recently bought a good set of hid's for it (h4). although when i plugged them in, only the high beam worked. so i went on with the trouble shooting and ended up removing the high beam wire on the hid kit and moving the low beam to the high beam slot...they work fine. (i dont care for high beams, barely any dark areas in miami, low beam produces enough light anyways...) so now i got them working, except one of the lights flicker, i bought a relay for it thinking it was a voltage problem but it still flickers...

what do you guys think the problem could be?:help: :smoking:

been discussed before...best way is to unplug the blue wire from the small box underneath the dash ..takes 10-15 minutes...the only thing is youll lose your daytime running lights but then again you can always turn on your headlight during daytime..:).. im surepost still here and i got great help from yaris members as well....good luck

no drl? really... cause the flicker is due to voltage drop.. hid kits requires 12 v drl drops the volt down to 9-10v but i could be wrong. hope you get this figures out..good luck

could be a bad ballast or bulb. Swap them to the other side and see what happens. first bulb, then ballast, process of elimination.
