Cheap Copy fitment

I have weeks looking for this style of wheel found them in 17x7 offset 35.

Do I need to add spacers in the front and rear? what size - 5mm or 10mm?

No spacers at all. Offset +35 will is pushing the wheel outwards 10mm more than stock wheels which are offset +45. With +35, you'll be sitting close to flush with the wheel wells.

I think it'll push the wheels outward more than 10mm since OEM wheels are not 7" wide.

OP, if you had 14's, then it'll be 14x5, ET45. So a 17x7, ET35 rim will push the rims out 35mm (about 1.5" I believe). If you had 15's, it'll be 15x5.5, ET45. So those 17's will push it out 29mm from where you're at now.

In regards to spacers, unless you're going for that flush look (which you won't be flushed with those specs, even with a 10mm spacer), I wouldn't get spacers. If you must, stick with no more than 5mm wheel spacers (hub spacers won't matter). Any thicker, and you won't have enough lug nut threads for the nuts to safely catch on.

Not knocking on replica rims, but I wouldn't get anything larger than 16's for them. I haven't had experience with STR, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're probably one of the cheapest replica brands out there. And as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. So I'm almost certain that if you hit a deeper pothole at freeway speeds, you'll bend those STR rims if you get 17's. If I were to get replica rims again, I'll be getting Rotas as I had in the past.

Funny, this is the second time I'm using this pic today here on YW. I'm only posting it because (A) to show that I'm not bias against replicas and (B) it's the same style you like (just without the fake wheel bolts). These are 16" Rota Grid by the way.

Thanks for all the comments... I will go without spacers and I'm aware of the risks with those fake wheels but since my car is in the repair shop and its going to have new white (alpine white) I just wanted to come out with a new and inexpensive look.

I wouldn't use the term "fake wheels." Makes it sound harsh. :laugh: As long as you avoid pot holes when ever you can, I think you can get by. It's just those unavoidable ones that would have me worried.

And since you're foregoing spacers, you'll be good to go. :thumbsup:
