FS 09 Sedan OEM Headlights and Tail lights

I have a set of headlights and tail lights I don't need anymore.

Used Headlights $30.00 for the pair
Used tail lights for $40.00 for the pair.

OP failed to mention that one of the headlights had 4 holes drilled into the lens; and this is after I had asked if he opened or modded them in any way...rather unhappy about that as I thought I was getting a deal on them, but now have to open the one with holes drilled into them to clean up the streaks on the reflector housing/bowl, and some how plug up those four holes since I'm sure water will get into them once I wash the car.

I think drilling holes into the lens to put wires for LEDs through more than qualifies as modding the headlights and should have been disclosed in the original post and/or when I asked via text message.

Now I can see why the OP didn't bother to clean the headlights prior to shipping them out.

Both taillights have cracks and are extremely dirty. One has some kind of tar/glue that is black and quite impossible to remove. There's dust/dirt on the inside of both of them and one taillight's lens cover is separated from the housing. These taillights are what the seller considers in "good condition".


I will let the buyer of the taillights chime in on the condition of the taillights...

He requested some time to partially refund me money...I think he spent it as soon as I sent him the fund. I'm giving him time before the 45 days of the original transaction to be able to refund me that money; which is WAY more than a reasonable accommodation on my part.

that condition of headlights don't sell for more than 300 pesos here in the philippines, that would probably be around $10 there.

LA Yaris seems to be a long time forum poster, i would assume he is in dire need by trying to make money out of practically nothing. he should have mentioned an AS IS, WHERE IS condition to set proper expectations.

anyway, good luck with the resolution of the matter.

that condition of headlights don't sell for more than 300 pesos here in the philippines, that would probably be around $10 there.

I sure hope they fit an 07 since that's what I have. Haha. But yeah, I'm just going to get a passenger side headlight once he refunds me the portion I asked for. I wouldn't even sell the passenger side given to me as I really don't think it's worth it. It would take too much work, and it would still have 4 plugs. I would not deem that fit for resale.

Yeah, completely agree with you that half truths and big lies are one and the same. I'm going to give LA Yaris the benefit of a doubt, and give him to a certain date to refund me the money, but I wouldn't ever sell headlights in that condition. Luckily, I think I can use the driverside one, so I will just pick up a passenger side one.
