4x100 VW wheels will fit. Many VW wheels have a ET33, ET35 or ET38, so they will tuck into the car 1cm or less than OEM wheels on a Yaris.

i thought lower the ET number the more the wheel goes out more flush with the fender...correct me if im wrong. Running a 35 to 38 ET should be fine i would think....and ty for the info, also anyone try and actually run VW rims on Yaris, if so pics would be great.

Make sure the center bore size is the same size, 54.1mm, or bigger. If it's smaller, it won't work.

true on that , one can always get hub centering rings.

Yes, lower the offset, the more outward the rim will be. This is, of course, comparing two wheel of the same width.

Not if it's smaller than 54.1mm. If it's smaller, you'd have to get adapter wheel spacers that goes from less than 54.1mm to 54.1mm. My friend had to do that with his VS-XX. If it's larger, then you can get hubcentric rings (don't have to, but it's suggested).

I always reverse the direction of offset. VW are typically 57.1mm for bore.

so one should be able to get centering rings in size down lets say from 57.1 to 54.1

just found some ..57.1 to 54.1...:)

Yes. That should be an easy hubcentric ring size to find.

A singular example of the very newest model/generation of Bug/Beetle coupe (not convertible) was parked next to my Yaris at Starbucks today. It had what was trying to be a modern version of those original saucer/observatory dome/half sphere Beetle wheel covers on it. I liked the previous 'model/generation' of Bug/Beetle, but not this one....and the wheels don't help....the totality/result = an ugly mess....might be markedly different on a Yaris, though......would certainly be unique .

VW wheels totally work!

my wheels are 4x100 BBS RM that were a factory option on MK2 (1985-1992) VW gti's. naturally i made my wider but still no issues

just make sure the offset is good and you wont have a problem!

^^^^^ Wheels and car color make a big difference on the newest Bug. The one mentioned above was a terrible color that seemed to be the traditional VW Robin's Egg Blue, but with an equal mixture of 'Puke Grey'. A couple of days later I saw a new brighter blue Turbo Bug and I liked the look of that car. Earlier today (within 5 minutes of each other) I saw a dark greyish new Turbo Bug (liked the look) and then a white standard/non turbo new Bug that had the same wheels and fender treatment that Turbo Bugs do (also liked the look).
