So, my car has almost reached 100k and I'm finally starting to see some issues with it, its been perfect up to this point.

The other day, I noticed while turning my suspension was making a creeking / popping noise. It continued doing this for about a day and a half then somewhat went away.

Today driving from lunch, my steering wheel starting shaking back and and forth steadily, not a lot of small vibration, just consistently turning back and forth while driving pretty slow (about 20 MPH)

I plan on going and getting it checked out, just wanted to see if anyone here had some insight as to what it might be.

Thanks!

I noticed your car is lowered my guess would be a strut mount/bearing that could cause the creaking popping however it wouldn't really cause a steering wheel vibration at low speeds. It could be a worn out tie rod end usually they go bad in slow progression though they arent just good one day and totally worn the next day. Either way i would get it check out by a shop soon as possible because its most likely going to get worse and could potential be a safety issue.

The creaking/popping could also be the broken control arm bolt issue:

I'm betting this is the cause. It usually manifests itself as a violent side to side shake of the steering wheel.

Get it to a dealer asap!!
