I figured I would share a little preview of my street/strip DSM project. Here's what it looked like when I first got it:

This build has been many years in the making. At this point nearly everything on the car is new. This car previously did low 12's on a 4G63 with 175,000 miles that was stock except for a set of cams and some ARP head studs. Hoping to hit the track again this year and improve my times a bit. :burnrubber:

Ditched the Racing Harts/RH EVO for some CCW (I would have too)? It's looking good.

Yeah, with all the various wheels that have been on the car, it's interesting that I came back to a mesh style wheel again. It's similar and very different at the same time. Man, my car is super high in those old pics, lol.

Mesh rims ftw

I like my Work VS-XX. lol. Is the gold insulation for heat dissipation?

It's mostly to protect the carbon fiber hood from all the heat coming off the manifold. (It's also gold and shiny and looks cool, lol.) The stock hood had aluminum/fiberglass insulation in the same area.

Gotcha. I was trying to figure out why would you want to reflect heat down to the engine again. Makes sense tho.
