Saw a deodorized (no smell type) spray can for only a few dollars today at the shops, really dirt cheap compared to everything else .

Ive read an article where they say its a nice old school approach but stinks (now we have deodorized types). It prevents rust under your car & engine bay area. I think it lasts about 1.5 years once it dries up and it inhibits already existing rust, prevents and protects rust-free areas from getting rust.

Does anyone here use it for their yaris or used it before with good results? Is fish oil safe to use on rubber(hoses)?

I have a small portion of bubbly paint (from brake fluid spilll/leak) i wanna sand paper off and maybe wipe some fish oil on it for protection but its deep within the firewall crevice where there is 2 huge rubber pipes below it which might get some fish oil on it during the process.

Thanks:thumbup: :drinking:

Try rustoleum in a spray can to cover the area that the paint is gone.

Fish oil is OLD school! Works well on undercarriage and suspension parts, NOT on the engine or near it.

I heard fish oil pills are good for your skin though

Too many cats in my area. They'd lick it off and leave there salty saliva behind, making things worse.
