not: I MESSED UP THE TITLE, TALKING ABOUT 195/75, not 195/70.

My Yaris is NOT my daily driver. I want to turn it into my dedicated camping mule. I was researching lifting it a little bit, but this seems to be a big PITA for the Yaris.

Would 195/75R14's fit on my stock wheels, or do you think I would rub all over the place? I'm willing to roll out my fenders, but I'm not sure on the inside.

These are the tires I'm considering:

Thanks for your help! (p.s. please don't say "oh, this isn't what the yaris is meant for, buy a blah blah blah - we all have our reasons )

Well the stock steelies on my 08 yaris were 15s not 14s but that aside if its a 195/75/15 you should be just fine.

that is a 11.1 % jump in tire size ur going from a 23 inch to a 25.5 inch diameter.....u will have problems for sure , its not an SUV lol
stock 14 inch tire is 175/65 and u want 195/75 ....crazy not only will u rub but the car will be a pig with the gearing all off...also why go higher if ur stock suspension car sits quite high.

just to add...if u are gone try and make an suv out of it ...try running springs from other cars or do what jeep ppl do get leveling pucks ...one could make something to work .

Well if if some yaris come with a 175/65/14 and some come with a 175/65/15 that in itself is a 1 inch difference so going froma 175/75/14 should still have clearance. I have put 205/55/15s and had them fit on the stock wheel so i know the width for sure wont be a issue just the radius.

There was somebody that was selling 185/75-14 mounted snow tires, that had a photo on a sedan, and when asked he said there was no rubbing/contact. The picture did show that the wheel openings were full(?). Bill C
