TRD Spings + Tokicos need camber plates?

I have TRD springs, 15" Scion aluminum wheels, and Tociko struts. The tires are P195/55/R15.

The inside of the front tires wore out in just 5k miles. I think it was just a poor alignment, or do I need to buy come sort of camber adjustment add-on?

There's a good bit of adjustibility in the stock crash bolts, and the springs/shocks will change your geometry. Considering how quickly you went through those tires, $100 for an alignment is a pretty good investment.

I have the exact same setup.
Camber bolts are advisable, but the toe adjustment is more critical.

I have no camber bolts on mine, just a toe adjustment, and no wear at 5K.

Did you get an alignment after install? It sounds like you didn't.

I pretty much just installed the same setup on my sedan. H&R Springs and Tokico Shocks/Struts (whatever you prefer to call them) on 16" rims. I got an allignment after the install and the camber was almost perfect but the toe was out a bit so got that all adjusted. Also its a good idea to get an allignemnt after the springs settle cus it could go out slightly for the extra 100 bucks its well worth it over 500 for tires. Im pretty sure the drop is almost the same for TRD and H&R springs, so its most llikely a toe issue over camber. But if its a camber issue there is some adjustment range on factory toyota crash bolt setup. Hope This helps.
