I have a very lightly used Simota Carbon Fibre Intake for sale for $150 (U.S.) + shipping.

This is the exact unit that MicroImage sells (where I bought it) for $249.

This one is basically perfect.

it has a couple of small scuffs in areas that aren't visible when installed (bottom and bottom left side) , and the clear coat is chipped at the bolt that attaches the intake to its support arm. The clear coat was chipped when I received it and it hasn't changed a bit / its also not a structural issue at all.

The filter shows only about 3000miles of summer driving (my car isn't winter driven)

Everything is included, and it wil ship in its original package.

I'm firm on the price because I feel its in near new condition.

Only reason I'm selling is to save up for a new intake manifold.

I have this very piece and love it, although one should be wary that if you have a big battery it will tend to push the box down and to the front, which in turn generates lots of scratches on the finish over time. In my case I decided to take the box off until this battery dies and I buy something smaller.

Not a bad price if you're looking for a pretty rare and cool looking SRI.

On my first Yaris, I had the Tooter spacer and a K&N SRI. Great sound and nice torque for daily driving. This current Yaris only has a drop in K&N filter. How does his intake manifold perform?

Honestly its kinda hard to single it out for gains because I did a whole bunch of mods within a short timeframe.

-Header
-Tooter manifold
-Corolla TB
-Coolant bypass (no more coolant heating up the TB)

that being said I still feel some softspots in the powerband even with all these mods.

But for me the Tooter wasn't only about power, its just a really nice piece of engineering and it came from a community member that created them for us.

I can tell you its real carbon fibre, however ....to get to your answer, I believe it may be carbon fibre outer around some other type of composite inner layer(I'm not certain, thats just my guess)
