Selling my 4 wheeler, hoping to get around $600. If so, I wanna get a body kit. I see many dura flex kits on eBay for under $600. If you had the cash, which kit would you get? Keep in mind I have to get a full front and back bumper due to scratches I want gone. Diablo kit?

Thanks for the input. Not bad, but does it just mount onto the lower half of your bumper? If so, that's no good. My front and back bumper have damage so I wanna just replace them altogether.
This is what I think I'm gonna order
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=321125946710&index=11&nav=SEARCH&nid=01127840739
I'm only nervous about how I'm gonna have to mount it. It says it could have attachments anywhere...soooo...yeah.

Don't buy kits ... just put the car to the ground with wide wheels and it's like u have a body kit because everything ''fits'' well :D some people think I have a body kit....
Hell yeah ^^^ but I'd do a front lip, that's what I run... stance + front lip

I have that rear bumper and side skirts. I will say these kits do not fit with the current clips the OEM bumper uses. Some trimming and griding may be needed. Also plan to drill some holes to mount the side skirts. Also that rear bumper will collect a lot of dirt and rocks over time behind the rear wheels that will cause the bumper to weigh a good bit more and "sag".

the thing is my front bumper is crap with a hole in it. i have a few scratches i could ignore on the back bumper. what if i did front bumper body kit and slammed it down a bit more. what do you think?
i have about $600 sitting around waiting for mods. these suggestions are great, keep them coming

My yaris is in at the body shop this week. I am getting the C-One front replica.
To be honest I think the OEM rear bumper sits too high. I never liked the cars out there who only do a front lip and dont do sides and rear to match. Some people like it though. That is just a personal opinion.

before you pull the trigger on anything, I will try to swing by the body shop and take a few shots of how I got mine set up. Will take a few pictures. I got some shots on my computer but I am at work. I do not know how the C-One replica is going to fit, But I will be using latches to keep it in place on the fenders like I am doing for the rear bumper right now.
Here was my thread when I was looking for something to keep my bumper from saging after the fiberglass broke where you screw into the body.

I freaking love that ings +1 replica front. I would opt for that with some coilovers/wide wheels and stock body everywhere else.
you said pics... i do have a sedan but you get the idea

Pics are helping a lot guys. Thanks. I'm guessing coil overs are the route everyone is going for the low stance? And rice thanks for going out of your way. Pretty sure I read that thread you made but I'll double check.

I would just replace the stock bumpers and get a Kaminari lip kit, those ebay body kits dont hold up well and fitment is usually off.

absolutely. Coilovers are a must. There are two or three sets for sale used right now 500 or less. Theres even some ksports missing rear dampers going for 350! Im sure you could negotiate and grab some high quality dampers for ~200. Then use the leftover for a nice front lip and done. Wheels youve already got and can always add spacers for a more fitted look.

I'm thinking replace the stock front and maybe a lip then coill overs. But what other mod would I have to do to get it to sit as low as you guys have yours?

Also, will sedan coil overs fit on a hatchback?

Kaminari is about $500 shipped. Looks good. Can't find any pics of the back lip. Anyone have pics of it or deatails on the ease of installation?
Im on Megan coilovers. The fronts are the standard spring and configuartion included I have not modified them and they still can go another .5-.75" lower from what you see there. In the rears I have swapped many different springs in to go as low as I want and as stiff as I want. I finally landed on some 130/6k springs also purchased from megan. That is 60mm shorter and 3kg stiffer than what comes with the megan kit. I have run those springs on the stock perches and that gets me real low but with the 15s pictured above I left all the hardware. If you go with a new set of megans you can pick whatever spring combo you want it to come with just talk to Jeff, he even beats Megans direct pricing.
I also am on 15s with 165/50 federals in those pics so that is a tiny rolling diameter which brings you super close to the ground. I was only .5" from subframe to ground. If you go with bigger wheels/tires you wont have to be as low as me and can still achieve the look.
Here is a pick of my car with larger wheels/tires and still hella stanced.

That lip kit looks better everyday. I may pick up the lip kit and a hood from Garm, then get coil overs when I save up again. I can sell my lowering springs when I'm ready for the coil overs. So if I went with wheel spacers, what's the recommended wheel width for decent stance.
Haha define decent. That gold setup is 17x9.75 +25 the pics from v2labs were 15x8 +10 w/ 3mm spacers. I dont think either of those setups were wide enough.

I'm thinking more of the 3mm setup with +10. G-Ammo what is your setup?

17x9.75..? How do you turn without rubbing lol. I would love to have 17x9
Rolled/pulled fenders, wicked stretched tires (205/40 on 9.75), and a lot of trimming of body panels and hardware.

Ok, so first pic is of my rear bumper behind the tire. Behind that part is a giant pocket where rocks and dirt like to gather over time adding a good bit a weight to the rear bumper causing alot of stress and if not mounted properly will cause the clips to crack or break.
second pic is of my sideskirt. you dont have alot of material to drill into for the side skirt so you gotta locate it very carefully. Mine have been thru hell and back. I will probably end up getting new ones.
third pic is how I finally mounted my side skirt to the rocker panel (think that what you call it) I originally used double sided 3M tape but It wouldnt hold up. Rocks were getting between my door jam and the side skirt as you can see the gauges going straight up in the middle of the side skirt where rocks would get under the side skirt and my door would ride against it and destroy the fiberglass. I ended up just screwing it down with some screws as you see. Wish I did that to begin with.
hope this helps

that does help, thank you.
gonna order kaminari lip kit tomorrow and hope the install doesn't involve too many new screw holes.
funds were a bit miscalculated, so a few days after that i should be clear to order a hood from garm. when all comes in ill post pics.

I have BC racing coilovers with 15'' Rota Grid V's ET25... no spacers or anything. I do have front camber, but just a little bit (don't want to change tires every 5000 km's, haha)... I have Nankang 185/45/15 on the Rota's, not that much stretched though :).
Lemme know if u wanna know more :D

Great suspension company, but unfortunately the Yaris kit doesnt allow for too much low and no damper adjustability.

Only true for the Street Basis kit. The Street Advance kit has damping adjustment.

I'd consider the Kaminari kit myself, but is that the only option for the rear is to have a center exit exhaust? I already have a DC Sport side exit exhaust which I love and would not want to have to buy a different one.

I'm not sure if the back lip would make it not tolerable for a side exhaust, cause I have a side exhaust. I'll post pics when it comes in.

This is just the kit sitting up against the car. No work done yet. I may just set all four pieces against the car and see what it looks like now to have a good idea on if I Should do a black finish.
