It's fine when warm. When it's cold 1st to 2nd or 3rd to 2nd it's sort of harder to shift. Any suggestion?
It's done 100k. It's 2007 model i've had it for 6 years. It's been great but i think the tranny is going.

RedLine MTL gear oil will fix that.

Actually, with 100k miles, the gearbox oil just needs changing anyway as it's over due and just fresh "stock" oil will probably solve your problem.
However, using the appropriate "Red Line " or "Royal Purple"" oil couldn't hurt.

I did put redline mt 90 in there and it was good. It lessened the notchy change. But I thought it would better if i added this stuff.

It was great at first but when i took for a spin this morning there was resistance to shift lol.
I swear when I first put it in it was smooth and stuff. But this morning it was playing up.
Maybe it needs time to dial in lol.

This stuff may just be a thickening agent, and when cold your noticing the thicker oil.
I would not use any additive, just good quality oil. I like the MTL(80 wt) better than the MT-90. Either one is fine.

MT-90 aside, you can also spray a little WD-40 on the top of the gear box, where the linkage from the shifter connects.
