I am barely beginning to learn about AEM CAI. Simple question, what would be the difference between this $80 CAI http://www.amazon.com/Toyota-Yaris-06-09-Intake-Filter/dp/B005UUI732/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1369881176&sr=8-4&keywords=toyota+yaris+cold+air+intake#productDetai ls vs a more expensive $200 http://www.amazon.com/AEM-21-573P-Polished-Intake-System/dp/B001DX53ZA/ref=au_as_r?ie=UTF8&Make=Toyota%7C76&Model=Yaris%7C2851&Year=2009%7C2009&carId=001&n=15684181&newCar=1&s=automotive&vehicleType=automotive
Thanks!

For starters the AEM has a higher quality, designed and tested filter, along with a true designed and tested intake tube. The other one is just a knock-off that's copied the AEM design by looks and has a cheap filter on it that could collapse and get sucked in. I have the AEM and love it, and it's held up well over the past 5 years and I got mine used.
It's your money, but I'd spend the extra for the AEM myself.

You can actually find that knock-off for cheaper. Do that, and buy a quality filter and junk the one it comes with. (They really do fall apart)

That's what I did...
I got an inexpensive used Simota intake just for the tube, and then put a top notch BLOX filter on it.

Nice. Blox is what I'm planning on using for my future "custom" intake that also uses a velocity stack. Sort of like yours
