Took my wifes BMW X3 into the shop for a recall today. As usual the BMW dealer had no loaners available so Enterprise rental puts me in a PT Cruiser.

I felt like I was someones grandad. If I wanted to drive a 1940's panel wagon I would have requested one.

Plus, I really disliked the fake 8-ball shifter knob. It made me feel dirty each time I touched it.

Arrrgh, bad memories!

I had a 2004 BMW 545i for a grand total of 6 months- I think I spent 4 of those months in a Dodge Neon or other rental vehicle because that piece of shit was in the shop so much.

Which dealership do you go to? If it's United Roswell tell them Moose said to stick it up their ass- then grab me a brochure for the new M Coupe. LOL

Hey, the convertible turbo is awesome! Spent a week cruising San Fran in one, and had a blast! Back seat will blow your freakin' head off, though.

The PT cruiser is the only car that by driving over a nickel, I could tell if it was heads or tails up... rough ride! I liked the steering though, it had a really tight feel to it
