Vitz SAT/NAV/DVD Unlock

Hi,



I recently bought a 2009 Toyota Vitz/Yaris RS imported from Japan equipped with a Fujitsu Ten SAT/NAV/DVD system, NHDT-W58 36063 (all in Japanese).

It would play radio, CDs & DVDs ok, however I disconnected the battery recently and upon re-connecting the unit it prompted me with a touch-screen panel to enter a password or code.

I've tried everything .... even contacted the local Toyota dealer here in Jamaica but they were unable to provide any assistance.

Really .... I like it even though almost everything is in Japanese, a great system compared to most I've seen out there so I'd greatly appreciate any advice.... or suggestions on how to proceed to unlock as soon as possible.

I read once that the last four digits of the VIN is the default PIN for those radios.

Ohh ... I'd read that somewhere too & tried it the same day ...didn't work.

It's a real bummer coz it's a JDM ev'thing with regards to support is thru/from Toyota Japan, I even tried calling and emailing Fujitsu Ten only to be told I'd have to find or contact a Japanese dealer.
