Family issues has created the need for me to give my 2009 Yaris to my daughter. I looked around at other cars and finally came back to realize that the Yaris was the perfect car for me.

Not much inventory here in Indy and I am wondering if what the discount was on the 12/13 Yaris when you bought one?

My Advice: Read Yarisworld threads where Yarisworld member Absolutely Red 12 has posted (effectively and efficiently) on this subject, and then PM him IF you need any clarification. He has purchased a 2012 Yaris, and then later a 2013 Yaris for his son.

I paid $14,800 for my 2012 Yaris L in Minnesota. Not sure if that helps.

I paid $16,500 for my 2013 LE automatic 3-door. I'm in San Antonio, Texas.
I could of probably got them lower but I was poorly out of time. =/

I am working on buying a 2013 SE. The list is $18,100 and I am aiming to get the price under $17,300. I was curious what percentage of discount anyone has received.

When Absolutely Red 12 posted what he paid for his 2012, I figured out what percentage discount that was. Off the top of my head, I don't remember what that was. I figured it because I wanted to know re applying it to a 2012 SE 5-speed if I bought one, and also for a member who posted from San Francisco. I may have included the percentage in one of my posts to the member in San Francisco. I do remember the amount was about the same as the destination charge (before T & L)....so in addition the T & L on that amount would be saved.

Well I am now the proud owner of my 2nd Yaris.

I was very happy with the dealership (Beck Toyota in Indianapolis). I told them I had a target price of $17,300 and they came back with $17,295. I was happy with the price and this was a very low stress and great experience.

Eh, when I got mine there was no promotion. Got my employee discount, then spoiler and mud guards installed and came to 13.9k.

I got my wife's car ('13 Yaris SE Auto) for 16,849 after dealer fees and tags; would have been ~500 dollars cheaper if I'd used the College Grad. Rebate.

You can get these cars relatively cheaply if you have patience, time, and do your haggling/negotiation over email NOT on the lot.

Hope you and your Yaris (and family and friends) stayed dry over the last few days .

I got my '12 Yaris SE with a manual transmission(exactly what I wanted) for $16.5. My car was actually sitting on the lot for half a year. Guess where I live it's hard to move the Yaris' off the lot especially when you can have a corolla for the same price and I guess that's why I see way more corollas than Yaris'.

That is amazing!....not that a Yaris SE was sitting on a lot for 6 months, but that a 5-SPEED MANUAL YARIS SE was sitting on a lot for 6 months.
