Side skirts are dirty in the pic from the gravel. Yeah, I kinda worried it would look like it came straight out of the box, but the look keeps growing on me. Been looking around for the 1f8 paint meanwhile.

I'm with mongoose. Since all of your black elements are not the same shade, it does look like you've added a kit but cannot afford to paint it.

IF it stays black at least paint it a nice shade of black.

If you plan to keep it black, at least paint that bottom part of the door panel black to match the lines of the skirt. Like the others have said, most would suggest to paint it body color because (1) it looks finished and (2) it makes your car look much lower. A painted lip defines the bottom of your lip, looking like it’s closer to the ground while the black sort of blends into the shadows, not giving a clear image of the space between the ground and the lip kit.

maybe spray it matte black to match your vinyl in the front? I have the same kit just waiting to have enough money to get it painted body color on my car... or spray it myself if the estimates are too rapish......

www.automotivetouchup.com doesn't have your color in spray cans?
It does look unfinished as is. That would be ok if it were a Honda.

Agreed it looks unfinished. You're going to have a hell of a time trying to match the the factory silver, it's really tough trust me! I had my rear bumper and skirts painted at a shop and they used the factory out-of-the-can for the meteorite metallic and you could tell. I'm now getting it blended properly (as some of you know). However, even that would look better than what it does now. The Kanimari kit is one of my favorite. PLEASE do yourself a huge favor, save up, and have a shop or at least someone who knows how to mix paint and spray paint it for you.

It really does look better painted to match. I do like the first photoshopped pic though.

@ ilikerice LOL, I wondered if anyone would even notice that.
one more for unfinishe needing paint
it looks like you put it on straight out of the box because thats what you did do lol
I agree with Yugi color matched = contrast to undercarriage/ground making it look lower
black = gets lost in shadows

I did paint it, black. The color it came. I am enjoying its look a lot right now but plan some paint matching in the future.
That's just my preference though.

sorry, personally think you should still paint match it. still looks like you put it on straight out the box even if you got it professionally painted. Like CaliYaris said, like most honda guys do. I used to be one of them.

Unpainted kits are popular with Hondas (and apparently now hyundai) at our walmart. To each his own, but it looks ghetto black.
