NO, padel should not be loose. Well tighten it up dude, put some crazy glue , ty-wrap or duct tape or something..LOL :tongue: simple fix

check the brake pedal bush/shaft illustrated in BR-18 (Brake Pedal Support) of the service manual. try to tighten it if that helps.

well, just checked the brake pedal on my wife's 2011 highlander and it is just as loose (left to right), so I guess that's normal.

some play would be normal, but should not be noticeable while driving. Should be inspected, to see if anything is coming apart.
