Hi guys!

The Envy Cold Air Intake arrived this morning, and before long, I was jacking up the car and getting ready to install it. Overall, the kit is fantastic, deep and throaty sound when hitting the gas, the little car is even better now with this mod from Kevin and the gang @ Envy! Thanks Envy!

Its not too difficult to install, I just followed Kevin's instructions on taking the wheel off and the plastic lining to be able to place the CAI into place. Also, I had to loosen my headlight a little as well to fit the pipe into place properly. The MAF sensor has to be loosened, just cut out and loosen the tape, otherwise it will not reach...

I only have the Perrin Performance crank pulley left to install, and basically thats about it engine and performance wise. Really thinking about the Tein adjustable coiley's though...

Interesting... 2.5" piping. Hmph... not to mention the crazy filter placement. Pretty cool.

Yeah, thanks! The filter itself is placed behind the bumper by the foglight to suck that good ol' cold air in. Oh by the way, its a dry filter, so no need for oiling, only cleaning, this is good for the MAF sensor...

That's a good location for sucking cold air, but make sure you keep an eye on that filter, it'll get dirty there.

(And clean your engine bay. )

I'll try to write up a DIY a bit later. The price was around 210 US with a discount. Here's the link:

Looks really good. Is there any chance this thing can suck up any water in the rain or going over puddles?

Well not really, its fairly protected by the palstic inside lining by the wheel arch and I'll try not to drive into large puddles.
