are the third gen Yaris smoother and quieter?

I have a 2012 LE and to me it seems a lot quieter and smoother with a much better ride than the 2011, 3 door L lb 5 speed I traded in. Got a bad knee and had to have a automatic trans is the reason I traded.:smile:

I think mine will get even more quiet when I get better tires.
I also think the ride will be slightly smoother when I get the rims I want.

It also got significantly more quiet during idle after my oil change at 2,100 miles.

Could have something to do with the wheelbase stretched out about 2'' on the 3rd Gens. LE model may have some extra cushion in the suspension, too, I forget now...can't remember for sure.
