Does the 2012 sedan have a cruise control option? I was hoping to add cruise control the same way other people have suggested, i.e. simply adding the stem through the side and attaching the wires; hoping that the cruise option wiring was already in place. Am I out of luck with the simple install?
Thanks

Yes - It is the same as for the 2006-2011 Sedan. If you have power windows and lock then all of the wiring is in place. If you do not, then you will need to run one wire from the ECM to the steering column (the pin will be in place in the ECM, but the wire is not connected from point A to B).

See my DIY for the details.

Yes, it has power locks and windows.
Now, My son-in -law says I should be able to buy the cruise parts (stem lever, and simple wire attachment) for about $50. All I can find are kits for $175 to $200. Any ideas of what I need? Thanks for the great help.

All you will need is the stalk with the harness and mounting screws.

Do you have these parts? If not what is the price from Toyota?

You can get the parts from MicroImage. Not sure if they are 2012+ compatible though.

Yes. 2006 - 2014 all use the same parts.
