Hi,
I live in Trinidad, West Indies. I do used car importing from Japan on a part-time basis. In 2007 we imported a 2004 Vitz RS Auto for my wife. This is the NCP 13 model. It held up well and we still have it, though it will be up for sale soon.
Last month, I imported the third generation Vitz RS Auto NCP 131.
While the newer car is wider, more modern etc. the older car is more of a driver's car.
The newer car's electric steering, CVT transmission, and drive by wire has taken some of the fun out. Too it is a noisier car inside with the CVT transmission, although it may be better on gas.
Unlike the older car though, it can go in the manual mode, with 7 speeds.
The NCP 131 with 39,000 kms cost me landed, US$ 22,500.
Toyota Trinidad Limited will not offer this car on our local market. Most likely it is the only one in the country.
