Hey all
As the title states, I'm looking to potential upgrade my fog light fittings on a third gen Yaris to projectors. Any out there that are recommended?
I'm using my fogs as DRLs at the moment and I like that clear light output you get from projectors.
Thanks in advance!
Garm use to have them listed in his store but I cant find them anymore. Shoot him an email and see if he has any left over or can order a set

Thanks for the reply. Will go ahead and send over an email. Are they a straight replacement for the yaris then? And while its mentioned, anyone got any photos of them installed?

We had projector foglights for the sedan, but I'm not sure if we did for the liftback. I'll have to look back through the orders to see.
Oh I didnt know they were different

Thank you! It is lift back I'm after. I've mentioned previously but it's for the 3rd gen as well.

I haven't seen any projector fogs for the 3rd gen liftback. Always looking though.

Do a retrofit....I did. Since the Mini H1 Headlight Retro Fit went so well. Was considering the projector fogs.
Some photos taken from here:FOG COMPARISON :: Hella, Blazer, Bosch, OEM Reflector (http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?30382-FOG-COMPARISON-Hella-Blazer-Bosch-OEM-Reflector/page5)
But wasn't happy with the beam pattern as fog lights... but they make a GREAT driving light with a GREAT cut off...but no foreground for fog light use...but after seeing the light pattern from the Hella Micro De Fog Light - pretty sure this is what I'll use:

Comparison of the light pattern - Blazer has awesome cutoff but barely any foreground:

I'll like mount them in the yellow lens housing foglights to keep the look I already have:

Retro fitting - Kinda like this - using a circle cutter or dremel to round out the back housing to mount the Hellas in the OEM fog light - thus retaining mounting points and aiming capability. I will be using a H3 3000k HID 55W setup with this.

(FYI...the above fog lights aren't mind or the oem 3" fog lights - this image was pulled from a Tacoma retrofit using 4" fog lights.)

So the lights came in... http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/5858/hellamicroderetrofit01.jpg
But the OEM housing is a PITA to cut open...must be die-cast aluminum.

Broke the glass lens while trying to separate the glass from the housing, ended up getting some .25" glass cut to 3.5" circles then coated them with 3 coats of Dupli-color Metalcast Yellow from TCPGlobal and 2 coats of clear spray paint to get the yellow lens look I wanted. Then resealed the lens with a waterproof silicone. You can see that the paint isn't 100% clear but doesn't stop the 3000k HID bulbs much. The good thing about doing the paint this way, I can remove the yellow paint at anytime in case I want to change the color of the bulb or lens and no longer have yellow fog lights but a 5000k driving light.

Because of the new length and size of fog light the bumper mounts for the oem bulb had to modifed and resized as well as a hole had to be opened behind the headlight for the length and the back of the HID bulb wires. This is a picture of roughly what was done with a dremel.
