OK, so the title is gonna get some flak, but... I always carry a little bottle of nail polish on my mountain bike for covering nicks and small scratches ASAP after they happen (before rust - it is a steel bike). Bike was bright red and silver, car is Absolutely Red, but not the same red as the bike.
Question is - does anyone else use this smelly muck for this purpose, and if so, can you tell me whjat colour best approximates AbsRed?
Tanx, I hope!

wow that is indeed a weird question, and open to oh-so-much jest and mockery.
But seriously, there's hundreds of different shades of nail polish out there form hundreds of different brands, so it's gonna be real hard to find a good match. What I'd say is, take out a small part of your car, like the side mirror, or that little round part on the front bumper, and take it to the cosmetics are of your local department store, then compare and find the right one for that fabulous match...

No kidding! I knew when I asked it that it might be so, but it had to be asked - I am not going to go through the "testing" process if someone else already did it.....
OK,I dont get this, why not buy touchup paint, and leave the girly things to girls.

Yeah, no reason for this. Toyota sells touch-up pens.
Anyway, half the shell is plastic so you've got a 50% chance of rust not being a concern.
Nailpolish should be left for women and metalheads. :bellyroll:

Dude, a bottle of Toyota touch-up paint is cheaper then the crap my wife puts on her nails. I'm just going to start buying her "pretty" colored touch-up paint.

Nail polish is good for nails and bicycles...for anything with a motor please buy some real touch up paint! It looks better, lasts longer, and is less likely to be subject to mockery.
