Changing the license plate bulb?

I noticed last night that my light above the license plate isn't working anymore, it's not really a big deal to me but I am curious how you go about replacing it? What size bulb do you need and what's the method of replacing it?

The whole fixture pulls out (after you release the retaining tab). Once it is out, release the connector and twist to release the socket. The bulb is a little 5W 73E bulb.
