Well the time has come for the Harvest Event once again. I had actually planned on skipping any events this year, but the bug bit me during my visit as a spectator during the Main Event. Here is the link to my PB Album. More pictures and videos to follow. TTR's best runs of Day 1 netted new records in the Mile (138.65mph) and the Mile and a Half (147.2mph). I am pretty stoked that I have been able to so far bump the mile record by 4mph and the mile n half at almost 4.5mph.

Well, I guess I will have to be happy with the 138.6/147.2 for the year. I am out of fuel and there are some challenging head/crosswinds causing good sized reductions in speeds today. The summary for TTR for the event is 3 broken records and 3 new records as I raced across 3 classes. Big thanks to JRT Customs for the fabrication work and too many thanks to count to Granite State Dyno and Tune out of Hudson, NH. Also a big shout out to Scott McClure and Dell Joseph Brissette as well as Brian Theriault and Alex Tauer. Without these folks help it is a fact that I would not have been successful. I know deep in my heart that if I hadn't run out of injectors I would have hit over 140 in the mile and 150 in the 1.5. I know my end all top speed right now is around 155. Great weekend of racing with all those involved in our close knit community and an honor to be able to carry out the legacy of Mr. 311, Bill Warner. Now on to the serious build this winter!

The last photo with all the tape was an experiment to see if it would gain me extra speed to cover the upper radiator grille. I actually ran a half mph slower. It really could have been all kinds of factors, but still interesting to do. I can tell you that my engine temps did rise by ove r30 degrees by doing it so I will not do it again unless I install an icebox for the intercooler system next summer.
