Door ajar Beeper

Anybody know how to shut off the door ajar beeper when the key is inserted. All my previous cars were old and hence this annoyance never worked. I rather like leaving my doors open to play the radio when cleaning the car or just hanging out. There's got to be an easy way to shut this off.

i know on my GTI, there was a little button that the door pushes against when closed to stop the beeping sound. never bothered to look for the source on the Yaris...but you may want to look at where the door touches the body...

lol...that's what i did. hahaha. then covered it with some electrical tape. haha.
