Hey everyone;
not sure how many of you have heard of this guy, he's developing a clear valve cover for the 1nz engine, sounds like it's pretty cool and I might throw some money at him to get one: http://www.clearvueconcepts.com/1nzfundraiser.htm
Only thing that bothers me is that he's working with TBR, and i've heard some...interesting things about them on here. However, this guy seems pretty legit so far.
Thought?

Don't walk, RUN away. TBR tends to bring a very unpleasant reputation to their projects. While it may be an interesting showpiece, I doubt that looking at oil stained valve train would be very appealing to anyone but the most hardened gearhead.

Thats a nice respond, i like it, dont walk, run....
That sounds awesome but working with TBR...
They always work on these projects for years and never release anything. They were building like a complete full race setup on a 1nz i dont think that every finished, and they had that ITB setup that also has never been completed AFAIK
At least I havnt seen any completed projects

I tried for a couple years to give them the benefit of the doubt cause I am just like that, but the nail in the coffin was when my Tuner told me that they (Granite State Dyno and Tune) ordered the return fuel system kit from TBR the parts were a joke. The "fuel line" provided wasn't even fuel line...I can't recall what he sad it was, but something along the lines of what you would use for water, not fuel. other than that they made a deal to sell me a head and then went back on their word because the one they ordered to replace it didn't give them the results they were looking for. Sure, that can happen, but there was no mention of sale being contingent on another factor and it took weeks to get them to fess up to the fact that they were rolling like that.
