Go for the Enkei

Have you seen the Enkei's I want? They kinda look like this. I'm Mr. Instant gratification though.

Yum...

Yeah, I looked them up. Saw them in a previous post and wondered what they looked like. I personally don't like the flashy lip anymore. I had that on my Golf and I'm over it. I like very simple silver wheels that look almost factory but that is just me. Way to plain for your taste I'm sure. I just think from my experience if you get what you really want the first time you'll be happier, even if you have to wait a little bit.

I'm actually not a fan of the machined lip either. Plus I alredy did the stock 17's on my Mini Cooper S. But I just love the spokes and the gun metal. It's going with the theme for the rest of the LB. Gun metal emblems, antenna, fog light housing etc... Dupli-color is fun.

I think I'll just go with some classic Rs5, sweet and simple, tried and true, but yes plain

I am not seeing as many options as I'd like

Enei Wheels..

Great choices in my opinion...
Js M (gunmetal)
Rp03 (sbc)
SC03 (sbc)

My Favorite but to big for me, don't want 17's
Zr2 (anthracite)
:headbang:

Mmm, I kinda be likin those Zr2's as well. Didn't see the Js M? I'm still pretty hooked on the FN-18's though. You really think those are too flashy? Is it just the machined lip?

just me but I think the machined lip looks tacky, now I'll probably get ripped for saying that but it is just an opinion

Too bad these don't come in black or gunmetal SC03 (sbc)

The ZR2 is exactly what I was looking for but I want a 15 inch wheel only

why 15? I'll sell you mine when I get my Enkei's? They're OEM 10 spoke Toyota Aluminum Alloy?

I was looking at the accessory wheels actually but they are only 5 inches wide I think. The enkei are 6.5 and I would presume somewhat lighter hence the 15 inch wheel choice. Also, I want 205/50 tires nothing low profile for me. I am tired of seeing over sized wheels on these cars. Again, this is just my opinion. I had 18's on the Golf and they weighed a ton and they were way heavy 5 zigen's, when I ruined one I put the stock wheels and tires back on, the ride quality was soooooooo much better. I vowed to never do the over sized thing again. Seems it is only for looks really but that is ok too.

I was actually thinkin about backin down an inch and gettin 16's. Just depends on how many horror stories I hear about rubbing. Haven't really looked into the weight of the wheels. Tuning a car from scratch is all pretty new to me. The Mini already had everything you could wish for on it. Damn I miss that car.

I am not a mini fan. Way too Euro for me. I say 16 is the bigegst anyone should go on this car. I think that would be a nice choice. You can still run 205/50 on those. Have a sporty look and not sacrifice a soft ride but have more tire on the road. In my opinion it would still be an upgrade however 17's would be strictly looks on this car. I have heard of rubbing in hard turns but some say no problems. Go with the 16's please.

Go 17s..i got a 17x7.5 with tires 205 45 17..the suggested tires is (215 40 17) and I got no rubbing when I take complete turns. Its great. I'll get the 215 40 when my current ones are done.
Tho I'm still rockin the stock suspensions.

Do some research on the lightest wheels and buy it.
The lighest the more $ or harder to find, so find wat fits ur budget..

Blen, you still gots't the stock suspension though. I'm baggin mine. Got my DF210's already. That's why I'm worried about the rubbin. Hmm, I might just say f*ck it. I usually do.
