Scion XD 60/40 seats in a Yaris?

Hey everyone i recently became a Yaris owner. Like many others I want split folding rear seats instead of the bench. I know the 60/40 seats can be hard to find, but that made me wonder if any other seats are compatible. I know someone swapped the front seats from a Scion XD, and they simply bolted right in. After comparing pictures it looks like the folding back seats for the Yaris and the XD look identical. If people on this forum who have split folding rear seats could take some measurements we could compare to the XD maybe we could find another suitable donor seat.

Very interesting - I just pulled up the XD rear seat in the EPC to see what it looks like and I was thinking that you are correct, as the bottom frame looks identical. I ran a part usage inquiry and sure enough that lower frame is used for both the Yaris and the XD. So, they would indeed fit.

i have XD front and rear seat covers on the yaris. fits perfectly.

What else is an "upgrade" that we can take out of an xD?

'upgrades' = hubs, brake system, engine, HVAC knobs, whole dash can fit but it'll look funny at the sides, steering wheel, stereo, seats, rear axle assembly, transmission...yeah.
