Hey just did an oil change, and found that the Canadian filter uses a different part number and size
90915-YZZF2 is the american version, which is smaller
and i just compared it to the canadian version i just bought from the toyota dealer which number is 90915-YZZF1
Anyone know what size is recommended? why are the canucks gettin bigger filters? lol

A local stockist sold me a 90915-YZZE1. I hope that is the correct one for me. The 1NZ engine isn't listed on the side of the box.

If you want to get more confused look at this page:

the factory filter that comes with our yaris i believe is the 90915-10003
This is what the japanese get: very superior construction and filtration, we get this if we buy the TRD filter for $50
can anyone confirm this oil filter part number that comes with the yaris?

cool, I really like the Amsoil filters I was just reading about now
http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/eao.aspx
They are winning my business by showing every part and how it is built-also good for 25,000 miles? thats a solid filter, but i wouldnt leave it in that long
ive been a mobil1 oil guy for years now im thinking of switching to Amsoil 5w30 now too
