Good day everyone, let me start by saying what a great community this is I have already learnt so much from just reading through the forums.

I recently purchased a 2007 Toyota Vitz RS 1.5L Manual.
I want to install an AEM EMS-4 but I do not want to cut or splice into the original wiring harness. I have contacted AEM and Tweak'd Performance with no luck as they are saying they do not have the connectors for the 2007 Vitz RS. Although Boomslang makes a Patch/Extension harness for the vehicle compatible with the EMS4 I personally thing their price is too much (nearly the cost of the EMS-4 itself).

This leads me to the following questions I hope to get answered;
1) Athere any other companies that can make the Patch/extension Harness?
2) Is there some place that I can purchase the Boomslang Harness at a resonabe price?
3) Is the USDM Yaris and the Vitz RS have the same ecu connectors.?

Attached are pics I recently took of the ECU and connectors in my 2007 Vitz RS.
Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.

The US and JDM ECM connectors are the same. The cheapest solution is to make your own. I made one for my AEM F/IC using a junkyard ECM harness ($120) and an ebay ECM purchased for $35.

Here's an article I wrote for Micro Image on it:

We are a Boomslang dealer and an AEM dealer. I would work with you as best I can on the pricing. Contact Micro Image at sales.microimage@gmail.com

Thank you for the suggestions.
I will look at acquiring an engine harness when I purchase an engine and wire the AEM EMS-4 to the replacement harness in order to keep the original harness as original as possible.

I acquired an auto harness and was wondering if there will be anything in particular I need to be aware of if I am going to use the auto harness on a manual vehicle for the AEM EMS-4 install.
I am planning to start the wiring/install in the next few days or as soon as I know for sure what to expect. Will post the diy once completed
Thanks in advance.

It's no problem using an auto one on a manual. There will be about a dozen wires that are not used, but it won't hurt anything to have them in place.

Thank you CTScott you know this car inside out. That's exactly what I thought having additional wires that wouldn't be of any use but u confirmed it. Thank you again.
Once d AEM EMS-4 is installed and tuned N/A it will be time to install d engine I just bought and start the turbo vitz project.

I bought a used 1nzfe and installed it in the vitz in early January.
I did this as I didn't want to cause any accidental damage to the original engine for the car.
I already wired the ems-4 onto the auto harness but haven't installed it in the car. hopefully in the next few weeks I will install the ems-4 and the 1zz tb.
The main keep back is that I like the car and its original power output so I am not to inclined to mess with it, I never thought I would haved liked this car as much as I do....my previous car as a 200+whp Toyota EP82 Starlet GT

EP82s are nice, light-weight and very fast however they're too common down here. I bought a Vitz because its different.

How much did the engine set you back in Trinidad?

About $3500 to $4000 TTD. Cannot remember the exact amount.
