I have had my yaris 2 door hatch for 9 months. I drive around town and short trips (60 miles RT). I get about 38mpg not bad. Last weekend I drove 370 miles round trip. On the interstate I drove 75mph -85mph and sometimes 90mph. Two people in the car weight 475 pounds total. I got 36.7 mpg. Ride was pretty good, road noise was a little loud. Over all I was happy with the performance.

I don't have an Yaris but same powertrain, anyway I'm sometimes surprised as the mileage I get considering the traffic conditions.

lol...seriously? i would think you would since you swapped the stock wheels and rims for 17 inchers. but like you said, you're probably used to it. heh, i'm not. i'm used to driving in small cars.

I went from a 00 Blazer to my Yaris, and I think the Yaris has more road noise than the Blazer on the E-way.... and it is not the wheels... I have tried 3 different sets of wheels and tires all with the same result.... so I just crank up the Radio

really? i haven't heard excessive road noise (unless i don't pay attention to it). what i hear more is cars passing by me like my window is open, but all of them are fully close. ???:iono:

my windows are always closed.... and that is why I got manual windows....
here is a comparison
volume 10 is good for cruisin on city streets
volume 25-30 sounds the same on e-way because of road noise
on stock radio
