Has anyone come up with a good material for lining the glove boxes

I am thinking about using pieces of a yoga mat, just to keep glasses and other contents from rattling and sliding around.

thanks

Woodworkers use this stuff when sanding or routing material. I have a sheet of it in my hatch to prevent items from sliding around. Nothing slides when sitting on this. You could locate some and cut it into glove box sized pieces.

Cool. I have thought about using something like that.
It looks like tool box drawer liner material

That's what I did when I first got my Yaris. Not only in the gloveboxes, but also in the storage pan in the center console.

Not only does it stop things from sliding around, it's also keeps them quiet.

I even made a mat for the flat area in front of the instruments, in case I ever place anything there!

Why not use the thin rubber mats that you can buy at home depot for kitchen cabinets? That seems to work best and is very cheap. I put a dab of silicone at four corners to keep it in place.

it also keeps them quiet.

 Fantastic idea on this point alone. I'm going to have to look into making some.

this stuff looks just like a product called "scootguard" thats made for rv's. It stops your stuff from sliding around while in motion. I also use some of this stuff between my floor and ramps when I drive my manual transmission car up them. It makes the climb so much easier.

Does anyone have any idea where to get the mat that goes for the cup holder that is between the passenger & driver seat?

Sticky back felt is good for glove box , cup holders , etc.. Can be found at Michaels or other craft stores . The liner for kitchen drawers as mentioned by jeeper5usa does well for the upper glove box , cup holders or other storage nooks . Target has it for $1.99 . It's white roll ( 12" x 5' ) and is non-adhesive . May be available in black as well .
