can't cast my vote since i'm forced to park where ever there is parking at my campus. and my garage is filled with crap (not literally), so i had to move my Yaris out to the street. but if i can, i'd try to find a spot right next to a Benz or something like that. or a new car since i doubt the owner wants his car scratched.

i took it literally...meaning that you always park next to an expensive car. i hardly get the chance to even do that.

ARG! I hate when people park like that, I got a horrible scratch on my passenger door, from some idiot that decided to take his Windstar, and stick it in a spot where a motor-cycle wouldn't fit.

I didn't notice that the van scratched my door with there door until I got home. And there was no time to go back down, and see if the Windstar was still parked there. Grrrr, people.

we park as far away from any other vehicle as possible. i need the exercise anyways. the mentality?? owners of cheap cars dont give a shit since their cars are cheap, so they can give you a door ding. owners of expensive cars think they own the world, so they dont care if they ruin your shit. what does that leave me with?? parking next to no one!! i always try to get the parking spot beside a barrier or a walkway, so the possibility of door dings is reduced to only one side of the car... this goes for my van as well...

Yeah, I just park wherever there is an open spot. Dents happen no matter how hard you try- I'm not going to waste time trying to "dent-proof" park.

Oh yeah, 23,000 miles and not a single dent or scratch.
