I noticed this sticker on my passenger window the other day. Any idea what they mean by "vehicale tracing system" ?

I was told that its at least an Ottawa thing... guess its at least in other parts of Ontario. There's a $200 surcharge on the cost of your Yaris that you CANNOT get out of b/c of this etching... it *must* be done. meh.

I got the sticker, but had to pay $75 dollars for it. Otherwise, my wife would have got ballistic and they were already terrified of her.

This I know for sure is done for dealers around Ontario... but if you have your car stolen not only will they replace it for you but will also give you $4000.00 cheuqe.

This is what i wa told at Don Valley Lexus Toyota (DVNLT) here in Toronto.

There should be a couple peices of paper with the owners manual explaining this.

Didnt notice anything in the manual when first got it, but I'll take another look. I suppose the sudgestion to just call the number would be the best bet. O and I bought the car in whitby, Ontario

It's all part of that admin fee!!! I think that it's a scam, but you gotta pay and get it at those dealerships who participate in this scam, I bought at richmondhill toyota.
