Head Unit Help

I have been looking for a Head Unit for quite some time... I have been weighing out my Options and I keep coming across the Pioneer AVIC-D3...

To me it seems like it's REALLY my only option...

From what I can see it does everything, and does it all under a Grand!

Does any one know of anything else close to it? Does this thing have any competitors?

I am not looking for a reason not to buy it... I would just like to make sure I get the best I can!

Naw not for under 1000 you won't really get one much better, the only other option is go with an off brand. Don't do that

i think that is the best so far outthere, got everything in one. Even under one grand.

with pioneers you cant go wrong! and for under a grand .. you're up for a great deal!

If that unit has Nav then its a great deal. The closest thing i can come up with off the top of my head is the Alpine IVA-W200, but it doesnt do navi. Within a few weeks Alpines 07 double din units will be arriving. (at least in my store)

personally i will go with pioneer, i had always be happy with there performance you can trust them and that unit is not bad at all for be under a grand.

i'd love to see pics of it after you install. i'm wondering if it fits perfectly or if there will be space around it in the dash. it looks really nice, i'd be getting it with the blue color though and not the red =)
