I know some people have done their own fabrication for installing bucket seats but I was wondering if anyone found a company that makes seat rails for the Yaris because I don't want to do anything to my stock rails just remove them and nothing more.

your best bet is to call up sparco recaro corbeau any of them to see if they do yet. Most likely not yet, only thing is to see if maybe some other car has the same rails and find one in a junkyard, unlikely but good luck.

your in cali... just head to Irvine and slap the guys at sparco around tell them you want them to start making them. Its worth a shot, they just might be looking for a yaris to make rails for.

Yea. Good idea. I'll call them up sometime next week since I have to work all the way to saturday (12pm- closing) so I won't have much time to get a hold of them.

HAHA. Gas here is about $3.37/gal. And that's regular! My district is basically run my Prius owners lol. Can't go one block w/out seeing two at least. But anyways, I'll try Sparco and post the results.
Eh. I just e-mailed them instead. If anything else comes up I'll probably call them up. Don't want parents yapping at me about the phone bill again haha.

I have good news, sparco already makes a slider kit for the yaris so all you need are those and brackets I believe. Just call up any one of their distributors in your area and they can set you up with everything you need. http://www.sparcousa.com/distributor.asp

I just ordered some slider brackets from Wedge Engineering. They've already done another members Yaris ( I remember reading his post, but didn't search it out). I'll post up pics and impression once I get them in about 1 week.

but only one of the sparco dealers for CA have a site. other than that i think i'm better off just waiting and waiting isn't that bad of an option right now since i have to pay off stuff still.

Wedge engineering makes great seat brackets, so that's promising that they're doing some for our car. If they perform as planned and mount the seat as well centered as stock and allow the use of the stock seatbelt, then I'm in and getting a cheap Corbeau reclinable seat for just the driver's side. Screw the passenger haha.

I can verify that Wedge Engineering does make the brackets for the Yaris HB seats. they are in the same buiding as the seatsource.com. I mounted some of the FLofit seats that I had and just had them re-upholsted. Note: that I had to add 1.5" spacers between the floor and their brackets to get my butt at the same height as the stock seats. You may want them lower. note also that the bolts to the floor go in at an angle, so I had to elongate the holes in the Backets and had to get longer bolts. At this height it also allowed me to use the plastic side panels that come with the stock yaris seats, I just had to dremel most of the ribing on the back side and cut part of the back section so it would clear the slide brackets. this covered all the brackets and the underseat jack.

Sweet, the only reason I want them is because of the lower seat height. 1.5" would be amazing!

i'm guessing i'd have to go wedgeengineering.com to get the brackets?

it's wedgeengneering.net.
Keep in mind that was 1.5" with the Flofit seats it may differ with other brands of seats.
