Not a bad looking car. I like those alloy wheels.

I just saw a Versa Note for the first time. Not a bad looking car either.

Looks like a Nissan product. Don't like those directional wheels.

Agree . The 1st time we saw the NOTE we thought it was the newly designed FIT .

I think Nissan must have had the (obviously successful) Fit in mind all along.....perhaps even a picture or model of the current Fit beside each computer as the Note went through the design process . A few days ago I looked on the websites of a few Honda dealers to see if any '14 Fits were listed in inventory. Total = Zero. I then realized this is likely because of the redesign/new generation for 2014.

If I was in the market for a new subcompact car the Nissan Versa Note would be near the top of the list. I like the styling inside and out.

I'll have to take a look at the inside of one. When I saw one, both of us were moving on a 6 lane road and I was just about to make a right turn off that road

I downloaded and read the brochure. I also looked at the Wikipedia entry. Well designed brochure, and it communicates the information effectively. The styling cues = very well done (as others have noted). Sort of a mix of the best Nissan, Mazda, and Fit elements. I like that the base of the 4 'levels of trim' has hand crank windows (as does the next level up), but includes a 60/40 rear seat. I like that all levels have the 'double front passenger glove compartments' like the Gen 2 Yaris, and the current Prius. I like the execution of the fuel gauge (looks like bars ). I like the hood over the gauges. I like that you can get a dark, and largely monochrome, interior while having a pretty wide choice re exterior color. I like that all trim levels have power mirrors.

The base S 'value per dollar' is extraordinary.

I'll have to view some Nissan forums to see if USDM S level 5speed manual Note owners have posted some real world MPG numbers.
