Interesting tinting tips

I got these ideas from a local tinting shop:
My state legal is 35%, okay now instead of tinting my windows under my legal limit, they suggested I do these:

Rear 20% or 35%
Side 35%
windshield 50% (illegal in my state)

It will look as dark as a car that has 20% all over.

It is illegal on all state (as far as I know) to tint ur windshield but hey its better than having all side windows illegal than 1.

I got in a car that had 50% windshield and it looked banging clear. SO ya if you didnt know this well now u know.

***I personally hate blackout windshield strip, its is is very very very very very ugly...its like a 2 tone window...mad ugly.

Cars (Passenger Cars)

This law restricts the amount of window film darkness on all side windows combined with any existing tint already in the glass to no darker than a number total of 25%LT (LT = light transmission). If the car has 2 outside door mirrors (one on each side) it allows any darkness on the rear wind shield. If the car has only 1 outside mirror the car is only allowed a total of 25%LT on all windows including the rear wind shield. It does allow front windshields to be tinted measured down from the top of the windshield 5 inches or to the AS1 line which ever measurement comes first (most cars have this AS1 line & some don't). Total of 25%LT allowed here as well. 1987 and older are not excluded from this law any more.

I think in Indiana you can legally tint your windshield

yeah, you see those god awful strips of tint across the front all over the place down here

man i wish we can carry 50% here in GA,
but nobody want that light tint.
The lightest we carry here is 35%, i love to tint my whole windshield too, but first of all i can't see out at night with the windshield tinted 35% and it is illegal here in GA. but at day ...2 thumbs up.

tinting my rear 5 windows 10% ,15% ,20%, i forget when one the shop has, and my front two 50%.

oh, and i thought it's legal in Arizona to have your front windshield tinted...

I have that same setup basically. 20% windshield stripe, 50% fronts, 35% rears, 20% hatch. Looks sexy.
