Hi,

My name is Tina, i come from Germany and have become my Yaris last Friday. It is an 1.33 Multidrive. This parts i have ordered extra:

Chrom mouldings at the side
Foglights with Chromrings
25mm springs
17" Toyota rims
Dark windows rearside

He has an rear view camera with monitor in the radio from factory, leather steeringwheel, leather gearknob and handbrakeshift, central locking with remote control, power mirrors and power window.

It is common here. When I took delivery of mine, the low fuel light was on.

Today I got a package from a friend in Japan. In it were my eyebrows that I could order Japan already in the right color and are not available in Germany, as well as a few leaflets from the Vitz. In the Japanese brochures there are so many beautiful things for the Yaris, which are not be available in Germany. I find that very sad.

Loving this so far. You've done some really clean mods and it just looks great for it. Is it possible you could link to those eyelids you got please? I have some myself but I cut them from vinyl and I didn't get that clean look like yours. Also, did toyota fit your springs for you or did you do it yourself? Again, great car and welcome to yaris world! You'll meet some grat people on here, I know I have.

I only have the struts cut away a little. The Philips daytime running lights have only three cables, plus and minus, and one comes to the parking lights. The rest is a relay.

I must buy a diffuser, looks than better.

The diffuser comes yesterday, install today, now i wait for a little package from Japan with some Vitz goodies, but it is now at the german customs :cry:

Before I signed any papers, I said "you are going to fill up the gas tank, right?"

My husband has biult they into the grill, electric was easy, there was a box, one side plug and play at the cable from the led-lights, other side with + and - at the battery and one cable at the parking light.

Do you know if this is the motor the hybrid has? Because as much as i know the hybrid doesnt have an otto motor but rather an atkinson motor, so the 1.5 litre may be performing even worse than the 1.3 sold here?

It is the same engine, but not the same motor. There are massive differences on the 1.5 that is not hybrid compared to the one that is.

Our 1.5 is more powerful than the 1.3, but I am not sure how much so.

Standard is the 1.5 1nz. Doesn't need a drastically larger engine as it would add weight. Just needs a more aggressive tune imho. Adding just 15 hp to the wheels makes a wonderful experience.

Out of curiosity, is the 1.5 1nz that we have here in the states, the same one they use in the Vitz Cup racing? I was wondering that because considering the engine application it's used for (economy car), the 1.5 1nz has a pretty high compression ratio if I recall. 10:1 I think is what it was and the car really seems to come alive at the high end of rpms.

:laugh: Reminded me about a 4-cyl non-turbo rental car we had in Italy. It navigated twisty roads well (up to Ravello), but when we took it on part of the Autostrade.....I remember keeping it floored and getting passed by Mercedes and BMW sedans as if we were standing still.

Nice car you have there.
Whats missing now is more engine power for the Yaris. Unfortunately they don't offer any bigger engines than the 1.3 gasoline or the 1.4 diesel here in Germany.

Are there bigger engines available in the US?

The 1.5 is what we get like Why said however it can be a VERY capable mill. Another option that has been found is going with the 1.8 2zr out of the Scion xD as it is just about a direct bolt in. :evil:
