Took my 07 5speed sedan in for alignment… Was told my right front parking light was burned out. Didn't think $30 for a bulb replacement was worth it so I came home and tried to diagnose the specific bulb itself… Anyone know where specifically this light is on a yaris because I can't find anything lopsided or burned out on the front of the car… Both turn signals work, low and high beams are fine too. :iono:

I found a pic online that lists the turn signal/parking light as sort of interchangeable (but it was the newer body style)… But I'm kinda miffed it that's the case because Tires Plus just tried to rip me off then. Not to mention they wanted another $75 to replace a serpentine belt (I got a $7 gatorback waiting to replace).

The 'park' lamp on these is almost not noticeable.. there is a second smaller bulb in the headlight assembly that illuminates the same space as the regular headlight bulb.. it looks like your headlights are on, but at about 1/3 power. Turn your parklights on, go and look at one side, then the other, youll see the bulb.. I cant imagine it's more than a few dollars.

It is just a $2 5W, T3.25 Wedge bulb. With the sedan you can replace it without removing the headlamp assembly, so it is a 2 minute job.
