Ouch!

Hmmm....had a nail in the right rear tire...put in fix a flat....put on my mounted full size tire...put the nailed tire in the hatch and took it to the gas station...put 35 psi in it....

presto NO LIGHT!

Now all I have to do is shoot a plug in the nailed tire and get the elves to put it back on Christmas Day!

I was able to disable the TPMS light in my 2008 by cutting one wire (thanks, CTScott!). Is there a simple solution for a 2014? TIA!

No. For the 2nd gen TPMS was really an afterthought, where it was a totally separate system (non CAN Bus) that simply drove an LED in the cluster by its own wire to the LED. With the 3rd gen it is now fully integrated and it sends CAN Bus messages to the cluster to control the light.

Thanks! So, it's deal with the light or an additional set of sensors on the new ones, huh?
